About Legacy

Welcome to Legacy!  You have connected with a group of imperfect people who are on a spiritual journey to know Jesus Christ more intimately and follow Him more fully.  We desire Legacy to be a safe place for every person to discover and develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Whatever spiritual condition you are in, we believe the grace and truth of Jesus is available to help you build relationships that last forever!

Jesus said the number one priority of our lives is to love God.  He also said the second most important priority is to love others.  As we receive God’s free gift of forgiveness and love through faith in Jesus, we are set free to share his forgiveness and love with others.  Growing in these vital relationships takes time and effort.  Ultimately, following Jesus helps us in our marriage, our parenting, our work and all other relationships.

Think about the relational dangers Jesus wants to help us overcome:  pride, selfishness, jealousy, fear, anger, bitterness, lying, cheating, stealing, laziness and the list goes on.  Think about the relational benefits Jesus wants to develop in our lives:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, self-control, honesty, purpose and this list keeps going on too.  When we get to the end of our time here on earth, our desire is to leave behind a legacy of life-giving and God-honoring relationships.  We all need ongoing help to overcome our sin and live out our faith in Jesus that will impact generations to come – this is Legacy – welcome!
